Oh silk, is there anything else quite so yummy? Silk is so beautiful. Most of ours have raw edges, so the feel of it is like nothing else. It is cut on the bias, so it can be very stretchy. Perfect for everything from making flowers, to using on a bridal bouquet. The way silk ribbon is made is basically like piecing together of fabric strips, so every 2 yards or so you'll come across a place in the ribbon where it was stitched together on a diagonal. This is usually not very visible, and the ribbon is still beautiful for sewing and other crafting projects.
