Product - 31435 - Robin's Egg Silk Satin Ribbon 33mm

I love Hanah Silk! These ribbons are so soft and gorgeous. The ribbon is hand-dyed so it can vary from the photo shown. The ribbon being hand-dyed also gives it a lovely subtle variations. This ribbon is made the silk being sewn together about every two yards, so you'll see little stitches where the two pieces come together, it can be sewn over no problem, and is not very noticeable. The weave is on the bias and this gives it a special extra bit of stretch. The difference between the regular silk and satin silk is that the satin is a bit thicker with more of a sheen to it. This ribbon is so soft and sweet it can be used for almost anything. I love making little ribbon flowers out of it especially. See our tutorial in the ideas section. It can also be used in decorating and paper crafting, so give it a try!

The lightest, most airy of satins - delicately fluid with a gorgeous bias drape. The hand dying process's subtle variance of color throughout gives beautiful depth to this "solid" shade. A simply stunning rich sheen as opposed to a high shine further highlights the color and accentuates the drape of this lovely ribbon.
